Homemade Dog Treats Recipes Cup
Is CRISCO(-Vegetable Shortening)ok for dogs?
I am making homemade dog treats and the recipe calls for 1/2 cup of crisco,i know cornmeal is bad for dogs.Is shortening???
I don’t see why not. It’s only 1/2 cup. My vet told me that putting a spoon or two of bacon drippings mixed in with our dogs food once or twice a week was good for the skin and coat. They loved it ! And it did make their coats shinier.
