Pitbull Dogs History

why do people stereotype pitubulls?
i just got a puppy pitbull and its color is dark gray and white. prolly the most handsome looking pup out of all ur pups. but since pitbulls have a long history of dog fighting and attcking people, a lot of ppl stereotype them. i got people telling me to becareful with the pup because when it grows up it can attack me. but the way i see it is how the owner treats n raises it. and it was used for dog fighting because i think its the strongest breed of all dogs. i saw one pulling a wagon with i think 35-40 red school bricks. but at the same time more and more pilice officers are getting putbulls to train to put crime in its place. if you saw a pitbull would you be like everyone of those dog stereotypeing ppl out there. or would you want to ask the owner to pet it cuz its such a strong corageous and handsome dog?
Pitbulls can be very good dogs to own when raised properly. They have a bad rep. because many fall into the wrong hands. Owners that like to fight and sell drugs use these dogs for all the wrong reasons. If you show the dog lots of love and socialize it you shouldnt have any problems at all. These dogs can be very loyal and loving it just takes the right person to bring it out of them. Good luck
